Family Gun Fun is pleased to announce the introduction of a woman’s self defense class(18 years and older only). This class is to teach skills to avoid an attack (violent and sexual), to escape and if no escape available to take out the attacker. The class is a hands on self defense class and I’m pleased to announce I will be teaching this along with my Jiu-Jitsu instructor a 10th degree black belt Russ Boaldin. The class is RSVP only with a maximum of five per class and they will be conducted on Sundays ( Oct. 10, 17, 24, 31st) and will last five hours long.
The cost of the class is $250.00 per couple. Each woman will be required to do/bring the following.
- Your spouse, boy friend or other male you are close to. (there will be simulated positions of a sexual nature to simulate a sexual attack) No actual contact.
- Sign a hold harmless release.
- Be prepared to work out hard including striking, joint locks and defensive strikes.
- Bring water for breaks. No food.
- Your male partner needs to be relaxed and understand we are teaching skills that will save you from an attack and if attacked teach you skills to get away or get justice!
This class is physically and demanding (bumps and bruises may occur). After all what do you think an attack will be like? I hope and pray that a violent attack/rape does not happen to any woman but let’s face it…..It happens every day several times. (Just in the DFW area) Juki Do Jiu-Jitsu utilizes time proven techniques that anyone can do regardless of size and strength of you or the attacker. Russ will demonstrate on me to prove this fact.
